Who we are
Ngurra Resource Group (NRG) is a 100% Indigenous owned and operated business based in Newman, Pilbara Western Australia.
Established in 2013, NRG has grown from a small operation to a key player in the transport and mechanical servicing sectors.
Formally known as Pit to Port Mining Services which began in Port Hedland, then Mount Newman Mining Services in Newman.
Now known as NRG providing more of its capabilities in the transport industry.
Meet the owner, Ron
Ronald Jones is the founder and owner of Ngurra Resources. A respected mechanic and businessman that has been serving the Pilbara for over 10 years.
Ron started NRG in 2013, beginning in Hedlad and later moving to Newman. As a proud member of the Wajarri language group, Ron lives the meaning of 'Ngurra' - country, home and place of belonging.
A family man with over 20 years' experience and achievements, Ron focuses on creating opportunities for Indigenous people, building community ties and forming long-term relationships for lasting growth.
